1966 - 1980 • 1966   Daikin's first representative office in Singapore was set up to distribute Daikin products. • The first product sold was packaged air conditioners for commercial applications. • Manufacturer of large-sized commercial Air Handling Units to meet the skyscraper boom of the early 70s. • Daikin introduces the Daikin Econair Multi-Room Air-Conditioning, a whole new range of sophisticated and energy-efficient air-conditioning systems to suit HDB apartments.

1981 - 1996 • 1986 - World's first VRV Systems introduced in Singapore for prestigious commercial complexes. • Replaces traditional and outmoded Central Chilled Water Systems. • Introduction of the Single Split Inverter Drive and the most ENERGY-EFFICIENT multi split to Singapore. • Other products included our tailed AHU, photocatalytic air cleaner and more. • Strong after-sales support, the availability of spare parts and the strongest service team in town to cater to every after-sales need.
