Daikin Singapore has committed to planting trees at Tampines Eco Green, in support of the OneMillionTrees movement. The movement is a National Parks Board (NParks) initiative that aims to plant more than a million trees across the island by 2030. The tree planting event took place on 25th October, amid Daikin Singapore\u2019s 55th anniversary this year. Mediacorp celebrities Paige Chua and Romeo Tan also turned up for this momentous occasion! \u201dAt Daikin, we strongly believe that its our social responsibility to care for the environment, and planting trees today to mark our 55th anniversary shows our commitment to this cause,\u201d said Mr Ching Khim Huat, Chairman of Daikin Singapore. \u201cDaikin has always been a strong supporter of the green movement. To be able to contribute in our own way towards Singapore\u2019s vision of being a city in nature, is something that is very close to our hearts,\u201d said Mr Chua Ban Hong, Managing Director of Daikin Singapore.<\/p>\n
