Daikin Singapore has committed to planting trees at Tampines Eco Green, in support of the OneMillionTrees movement. The movement is a National Parks Board (NParks) initiative that aims to plant more than a million trees across the island by 2030. 

The tree planting event took place on 25^th October, amid Daikin Singapore’s 55^th anniversary this year. Mediacorp celebrities Paige Chua and Romeo Tan also turned up for this momentous occasion!

”At Daikin, we strongly believe that its our social responsibility to care for the environment, and planting trees today to mark our 55^th anniversary shows our commitment to this cause,” said Mr Ching Khim Huat, Chairman of Daikin Singapore.

“Daikin has always been a strong supporter of the green movement. To be able to contribute in our own way towards Singapore’s vision of being a city in nature, is something that is very close to our hearts,” said Mr Chua Ban Hong, Managing Director of Daikin Singapore.

The Plant-a-Tree programme is a Mediacorp initiative, in partnership with Daikin and support of the Garden City Fund and SG Green Plan.
