Daikin Streamer Air Purifiers make use of Daikin’s patented Streamer technology to decompose viruses, bacteria, allergens and odors absorbed into the machines. Highly Efficient Electrostatic HEPA Filter
Daikin’s Streamer Air Purifiers are equipped with Electrostatic HEPA Filters, removing up to 99.97% of fine particles. Benefits of HEPA Filters:

- Non-Electrostatic Filters rely on mesh size to catch particles. To be effective, the mesh size needs to be fine, making it prone to clogging.
- Electrostatic HEPA Filters capture particles in the air with electrostatic forces. With low risk of clogging, it can filter a larger volume of air.
Double Method
Daikin Streamer Air Purifiers employs the Double Method, which is a combination of Active Plasma Ion and Streamer Technology. Active Plasma Ions are released, destroying pollutants in the air. While Streamer irradiation in the machines will decompose the pollutants captured by filters. With Double Method, both inside and outside the machine can achieve the cleanest air for you.

3D Powerful Suction & Unique Design
The air inlet is strategically located apart from the air outlet, which optimizes the intake of air, allowing the most amount of dust to be absorbed and purified in a given time.
- The vertical arrangement of filters is unique (inconventional models filters are stacked horizontally). This facilitates the air purification process and reduce noise.

- You do not required any cleaning at all on the electrostatic Hepa filter.
- How often should I replace the electrostatic Hepa filter?
- For model MC30YVM7, it is recommended to replace the filter about every 10 years.
For model MC40UVM-6, MC55UVM6 and MCK55TVM6 models, it is recommended to replace about every 10 years.
In case of severe dirt built up, the replacement can be earlier as this also depends on the usage patterns and location. - Can the Deodorising filter unit be cleaned?
