During the CNA Leadership Summit 2021, Minister of Sustainability, Ms Grace Fu, together with industry experts shared on the topic of Green Recovery and how the private sector can play a part in environmental sustainability. In alignment with the Singapore Green Plan 2030 objectives, Daikin has offered chemical-free solutions such as the use of high-pressure steam for coil cleaning and also the use of high-pressure air for duct cleaning.
With the signing of MOU with Innovative Polymers, we are taking a step further by pushing for the adoption of chemical-free Cooling Tower Water Treatment Solution for buildings in Singapore. With this green solution, we can achieve energy savings of 7% - 25% for the chillers due to the cleaner condenser tubes and also water savings of more than 50%.
This collaboration facilitates the expansion of such green solution offering to broader markets and supplements Daikin’s Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) objectives for our clients. Through the joint efforts of both companies, we aim to create a breakthrough, with a sustainable approach to cooling water management in the industry. Together, we strive to reduce carbon footprint and assist buildings to achieve industry leading efficiency and sustainability standards.
