Environment Friendly

R32 Refrigerant
As an equipement manufacturer, Daikin believes it must work to reduc the greenhouse emissions throughout the entire product life cycle. Hence, Daikin has adopted R32 into the multisplit series.

R-32 Next-generation refrigerant

DAIKIN is the only aircon manufacturer in the world to produce both air conditioning equipment and refrigerant.
As a refrigerant manufacturer, Daikin believes it has a responsibility to expand the use of substances with zero ozone layer depletion and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. As an equipment manufacturer, Daikin believes it must work to reduce the greenhouse emissions throughout the entire product life cycle. Hence, Daikin has adopted R-32 into this series too.

Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP)

Ozone depletion is the reduction in amount of ozone layer in the stratosphere due to pollutants such as chlorofluorocarbons. By using R-32 Refrigerant, there is zero impact on the ozone layer depletion.

Lower Global Warming Potential (GWP)

What is Global Warming Potential (GWP)?
GWP is a measure of how much energy the emission of 1 ton of a gas will be absorbed over a given period of time, relative to the emissions of 1 ton of Carbon Dioxide. The larger the GWP, the more that a given gas warms the Earth compared to CO2 over that time period.

Coanda Technology

A new way to experience cooling comfort

Remarks: 1. Usually the 5.0 kW to 7.1kW models reach up to 10 metres and the 2.5 to 3.5 kW models five metres.

The Coanda effect causes a stream of air or liquid to be attracted to a nearby surface. If you turn on a faucet and hold a spoon so it lightly touches the water, the liquid will try to flow along the surface of the spoon. Our Coanda panel creates a similar effect. Its shape bends the airflow up along the panel towards the ceiling. This enables the air to travel up to 10 metres1 and spread out across the whole room without creating uncomfortable drafts.

3-D airflow

Daikin’s 3-D Airflow combines vertical and horizontal auto-swing to evenly distribute cool air, reaching every corner of the room for consistent comfort.

How 3D airfow works?
The flaps and louvers swing in turn, expanding the comfort zone.

Intelligent Eye Sensor

Intelligent Eye uses infrared sensors to detect human movement. If no motion is detected for 20 minutes, it automatically raises the set temperature by approximately 2°C to prevent energy wastage—no manual adjustment needed.
